We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern/Trainee to join our team and contribute to the growth of Orderlay, a restaurant management app. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in sales, client relations, and market research within the restaurant and hospitality industry. You’ll have flexible work hours and the opportunity to earn a sales commission based on performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead Generation, Sales Meetings & Client Management
Identify potential clients in the restaurant and hospitality sector.
Conduct cold calls, emails, and visits to introduce our product.
Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers.
Present and demonstrate the app’s value proposition to potential clients
Market Research, Competitive Analysis & Documentation
Research competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
Assist in developing targeted sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
Document client interactions, sales pitches, and market insights.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, self-driven, and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Passion for sales, business development, and relationship-building.
A vehicle with a valid license is preferred but not mandatory.
